MAS signs agreements with Jet Airways, KLM, Air China, and Air Atlanta.


Malaysian Airline Systems (MAS) has signed agreements with Jet Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Air China, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Air Atlanta.

The carrier has signed an agreement with Jet Airways for heavy maintenance "C" checks on its fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft, while KLM will provide MAS engineers with technical training for Boeing 777 aircraft, and MAS will provide ground handling services at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for Air China.

MAS has also formed a MoU with Air Atlanta to provide hangar maintenance checks for the airline's three Boeing 747 freighter aircraft at KLIA for three years.

The four deals, reach on Thursday (2 October), are said to be worth MYR8.2m.
