 MARVIN M. EPSTEIN NAMED V.P. PUBLIC RELATIONS
 AND ADVERTISING OF THE AUSTIN COMPANY
 CLEVELAND, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Marvin M. Epstein has been promoted to vice president-public relations and advertising of The Austin Company, an international firm of consultants, designers, engineers and constructors.
 Epstein joined Austin in 1961 as manager of publicity and publications at company headquarters in Cleveland.
 In his career with Austin, Epstein has held a number of positions, including: manger of advertising for Austin International Corporation, a subsidiary; director of international public relations and advertising; and director of international sales services.
 He had been director of public relations and advertising since 1985.
 Before joining Austin, Epstein spent 10 years as a journalist and public relations consultant.
 Epstein is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
 Following graduation, he was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow in International Affairs at Princeton University.
 He also attended Western Reserve University.
 Epstein is president of the Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce in suburban Cleveland and a chairman of the board of governors of the University of Michigan Alumni Club.
 He has been a member of visiting committees at Case Western Reserve University and the University of Michigan.
 Epstein has been a trustee or director of a number of civic and cultural organizations, including the Cleveland Music School Settlement and the Stearn's Collection, a museum of rare musical instruments at Ann Arbor, Mich.
 He is a life member of the Society of Professional Journalists.
 The Austin Company is an international organization of consultants, designers, engineers and constructors. Austin serves industrial, commercial, governmental and institutional markets. Headquartered in Cleveland, where it was founded in 1878, the company operates through 40 offices worldwide.
