MARTECH USA ANNOUNCES $6.1 MILLION CONTRACT TO REMOVE VESSEL WRECKAGE

 ANCHORAGE, Alaska, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Martech USA Inc. (NYSE: MUS) has been awarded a $6.1 million contract by All-Alaskan Seafoods of Seattle to completely remove and dispose of the wreckage of the M/V All Alaskan from St. Paul Island, Alaska.
 The All Alaskan, a 320-foot, 4,000-ton fish processing vessel, went aground on the island of St. Paul on March 20, 1987. The ship suffered structural failure during the grounding and was abandoned at the site after all salvageable equipment was removed. St. Paul Island is one of the Pribilof Islands located in the Bering Sea.
 Work on the project began in February 1993 under the supervision of Hal Dreyer, general manager of Martech's Alaska Marine and Construction Division. The project is expected to be completed in November 1993.
