MARKAIR ADDS ATLANTA ROUTE TO REACH ALL REGIONS OF U.S.

ATLANTA, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- MarkAir announced today that it will begin passenger service between Denver and Atlanta on Oct. 2 to extend its low-fare air transport network to all major regions of the country.
"Demand for MarkAir's low-fare service has been exceptional, and we are delighted to expand these travel values to more destinations and more passengers throughout the country," said MarkAir President Mike Bergt. "The Atlanta-Denver route links the Southeast with convenient MarkAir flights to and from all major cities on the West Coast and Alaska, as well as low-fare service to the Midwest and East Coast.
Available for as low as a $180 one-way fare, the new Atlanta flights provide daily service to and from MarkAir's recently announced Denver hub, which provides connecting flights throughout the nation.
From Denver's Stapleton Airport, MarkAir flights are available daily to Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Washington, D.C., Dallas-Ft. Worth, Chicago and New York. Daily flights are also available from Seattle to Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland, Anchorage and local communities throughout the state of Alaska.
In addition, MarkAir offers combined service with Direct Air at Chicago's Midway Airport, linking 13 smaller Midwestern cities with low-fare service to either coast.
"Over the past two years MarkAir has rapidly increased its route system to fill the growing demand for high quality, low-fare air service nationwide," Bergt said. "This expanded service has been highly successful because our cost per passenger mile is less than half that of many of the large international carriers."
MarkAir reservations and flight information are available from travel agents or by calling 800-627-5247.
Headquartered in Anchorage, MarkAir is the largest airline in Alaska and now provides service to approximately 150 communities throughout Alaska and the United States.
