MANUFACTURERS BANKS CONSOLIDATED IN MICHIGAN
MANUFACTURERS BANKS CONSOLIDATED IN MICHIGAN DETROIT, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Manufacturers National Corporation
(NASDAQ-NMS: MNTL) today announced it has completed the consolidation of its Michigan banking offices in Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids and Lansing with its main bank in Detroit. In addition, the bank's name has been changed from Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit to Manufacturers Bank, N.A.
This consolidation was originally announced in 1990 and is not related to the proposed merger of Manufacturers National Corporation and Comerica Incorporated announced Oct. 28, 1991, and the accompanying name change. Manufacturers' customers may now bank at any of the 130 Manufacturers Bank branches in Michigan. Services will also be enhanced as products are offered on a more uniform basis and by increased operating efficiencies. In addition, the names of several subsidiaries of Manufacturers Bank have changed. Manubank Investment Services Corporation is now Manufacturers Investment Service Corporation. Manucor Properties, Inc., has changed to Manufacturers Properties Corporation. Manubank Leasing Corporation and Manufacturers Detroit Leasing Corporation have merged with Manucor Leasing, Inc. -0- 11/14/91 /CONTACT: Michael T.
