MANPOWER OF DETROIT, INC. JOINS FORCES WITH FRANKLIN BANK; JOINT VENTURE FIRST OF ITS KIND

 SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Nov. 17 ~PRNewswire~ -- Manpower of Detroit, Inc. announced today that it has recently entered into a joint venture with Franklin Bank (NASDAQ-NMS: FSVB). The venture is the first of its kind nationwide.
 By cross-marketing the small business market, Manpower will provide temporary employees to business checking account customers of Franklin Bank. Customers of Franklin may take up to six months to pay for those services, using financing provided by the bank.
 "This arrangement presents a wonderful opportunity for our two companies to better serve businesses within our market area," said Manpower President and CEO Jack Bourget. "Manpower and Franklin will be providing expanded services to our respective customer bases. Franklin will provide financing terms not customarily available in the temporary help business. Manpower brings their nationally recognized temporary help service to the customer. The expansion potential could be powerful."
 Through its comprehensive and statistically validated screening and testing tools, Manpower provides top flight clerical, technical, light industrial, and marketing temporary and contract personnel to area businesses.
 Skillware, Manpower's innovative office automation training system, is available as well. Workers use this hands-on instruction method to develop the skills needed to operate the latest computer systems found in offices today. Some of the popular systems offered are Microsoft Word 5.0, Wordperfect 5.1 and Lotus, 1-2-3, Release 2.2.
