 MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGIES NAMES NEW PRESIDENT
NEW YORK, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Management Technologies

(NASDAQ: MTCI, MTCIW), a developer of software systems for international banking, has named Anthony J. Cataldo president of the corporation, said Barrington J. Fludgate, chairman of MTI.
Cataldo, 40, was president of Internet Systems, Japan, a wholly owned subsidiary of Internet Corp., which designs banking software that cannot be used on IBM equipment. During four years at Internet, Cataldo developed extensive relationships with senior executives in Japan's largest banks and set new sales records for Internet.
"Japanese bankers, like bankers around the world, want to be able to leverage their investment in databases and hardware," said Cataldo, who has extensive experience with IBM systems from years of working with Hogan Banking Systems and Computer Associates. "They want the reliability in hardware and the wide variety of compatible systems for branches and head offices that are available only through IBM."
He joined Management Technologies because it has the most advanced design in international banking, Cataldo added.
"Its development on the IBM DB2 database for mainframes coupled with its integrated system running on Stratus and IBM System/88 computers for smaller banks and bank branches, give Management Technologies a comprehensive range of products that banks want. I intend to get out and tell bankers about MTI, which for too long has been a well-kept secret in international banking."
Management Technologies, founded in 1980, has banking systems installed in money center banks in North America, Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
