ANDREW MADLEY (West Yorkshire) HAS handled the Sky Blues twice - this season's 1-1 FA Cup draw at Hartlepool, when Carl Baker's overhead gem was wiped out by an Andy Monkhouse header, and last term's fateful League One game at home to Bury when David Healy took advantage of the softest of penalty awards to help wipe out first-half goals by Baker and Adam Barton and force a 2-2 draw that signalled the end of Andy Thorn's tenure as Sky Blues boss.

His most hectic assignment this term was Preston's 2-0 win at Port Vale in November sending off Neil Kilkenny in the 13th minute when Joe Garner should have got his marching orders for an off-the-ball swing at Anthony Griffin. He also totted up eight yellow cards as Garner stayed on to notch both goals in the Lilywhites' 2-0 win, the second from the spot. Micky Adams was not a happy man!
