MALCOLM X's BROTHER TO SPEAK AT RENAISSANCE WEST

MALCOLM X's BROTHER TO SPEAK AT RENAISSANCE WEST
DETROIT, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Renaissance West Community Health

Services, Inc., 13940 Tireman near Schaefer, is sponsoring "Malcolm X Day," a special celebration in observance of Black History Month, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 3:30 p.m.
Horace L. Sheffield III, director of community and public affairs, said, "We at Renaissance West are pleased to welcome Mr. Wilfred Little, the eldest brother of Malcolm X, to share his insights as to the recent rise in popularity of his deceased brother, Malcolm."
Also joining Little on this program will be Michigan Supreme Court Justice Conrad Mallet. Commenting on how the presence of these two speakers are intertwined, Sheffield stated, "In the 1930s, Michigan courts forced Malcolm's family off of their Lansing farm without reimbursement of their investment, because a land developer, thirsty for their property, sued for the enforcement of a restrictive covenant. Now, in 1992, we have a black man on the same court which denied Malcolm's family the justice they deserved in the 1930s."
The program will also feature the presentation of four prize-winning essays from students from the Detroit Public Schools on the subject "What Does Black History Mean to Me."
 The public is invited.
