MAJOR CHRIS TO GROUND CONTROL.

ASTRONAUT Chris Hadfield has capped his latest mission in style - with his own version of Space Oddity.

The Canadian marked his last day on the International Space Station by performing the David Bowie hit.

Like the words of the 1969 classic, Chris, 53, was "floating in a most peculiar way" as he sang and played acoustic guitar in zero gravity.

And he really made the grade with Bowie, who tweeted: CHRIS HADFIELD SINGS SPACE ODDITY IN SPACE! "Hallo Spaceboy..."

Perhaps Chris's next mission will be to find out if there is Life On Mars.
