MAITLAND FIRM JOINS IBM IN INTERNATIONAL PILOT PROGRAM
 MAITLAND, Fla., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Maitland-based CCS Technology

Group, Inc., has joined International Business Machines in a pilot program aimed at helping IBM's Business Partners who sell their software products worldwide.
The venture initially streamlines international marketing efforts by establishing guidelines for companies doing business with IBM in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean.
"We believe both numbers companies will benefit from this effort and that we will gain valuable experience that will enable us to extend the concept to other partners in other parts of the world," said Chet Spence, a consultant on IBM's international marketing operations staff.
CCS, a supplier of credit card and revolving credit software, provides consumer credit management solutions to more than 170 customers on six continents. These customers range from banks to retailers, finance companies and utilities.
"By bringing together a company with the software expertise of CCS with IBM's hardware expertise, we can offer customers a solid solution to their computer problems," said Ralph Monger, CCS chief technical officer.
IBM selected CCS for the pilot program because of the company's experience in packaging its software with IBM's hardware and selling the combined product to its customers.
