MAINTENANCE WORK UNDERWAY AT THE ESCAMBIA TREATING COMPANY SITE IN PENSACOLA, FLA.
ATLANTA, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will mobilize a three-man crew at the Escambia Treating Company site in Pensacola, Fla., on Tuesday, April 20. EPA personnel will perform maintenance work on the on-site drainage system. The work is expected to be completed within three days and will not involve the excavation of contaminated soil. Inspections, to date, indicate that the stockpiled contaminated soil is in good condition with no evidence of rips, tears or leaks.
