MAILING SPELLS OUT SAVINGS IF PROPOSAL D WINS VOTER OK

MAILING SPELLS OUT SAVINGS IF PROPOSAL D WINS VOTER OK
At three 10 a.m. news conferences Tuesday (Oct. 27), AAA Michigan

officials will discuss a first-of-its-kind mailing of 815,000 auto insurance rate reduction notices to its insured members.
The letters give insured members the exact amount of savings they can expect if ballot Proposal D is approved by voters at the Nov. 3 election.
In addition, AAA Michigan officials will provide real life examples from a random selection of the current and future rates of 30 policyholders if the Auto Club's "Lower Rates Now!" ballot initiative is adopted.
Auto Club officials will discuss the rate reduction letters at AAA Michigan headquarters in Dearborn, on the loading dock at the northeast corner of the building. Simultaneous news briefings will be held in Lansing and Grand Rapids. The Lansing news conference will be at the Lansing Branch office at 2829 East Grand River. The Grand Rapids news conference will be at the Eberhard Center of Grand Valley State University, located at 301 W. Fulton (corner of Fulton and Front streets).
The citizen-initiated auto insurance reform proposal will control skyrocketing legal and medical costs and pass on the $800 million annual savings to motorists.
