MAIL SERVICE RESUMES TO ISLAND OF KAUAI
SAN BRUNO, Calif., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Full mail service has

resumed to residents of the Hawaiian island of Kauai, hit several days ago by Hurricane Iniki, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) said today. Only two local post offices were severely damaged by the devastating winds.
Normal delivery service is being made to areas where roads are passable. Mail addressed to Puhi and Hanamaulu residents is available for pick-up service at the Lihue Post Office.
All post offices within the continental USA are accepting all classes of mail destined for Kauai. Routine delivery, without delays, can be expected.
