MAGIC QUEST LAUNCHES MATH ACE(TM) AND INITIATES NEW SCHOOL SOFTWARE DONATION PROGRAM, "LEARNING2"

PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Magic Quest, formerly Earthquest, announced Math Ace(TM), the nineties solution to the age-old dilemma of how to spark kids' interest in learning math and initiated its innovative school software donation program, "Learning2."
Unlike other math programs on the market, Math Ace integrates a fast-paced arcade style game with Smart Lab(TM), an interactive, self- paced math workshop. Math Ace also introduces an intrepid digital math navigator named Bit-Bot(TM) and a voracious Virus intent on devouring the World's Math Archives. Math Ace is designed for ages 8-14 and presents more than 3,000 math problems covering 70 fundamental math concepts from basic arithmetic through algebra.
Math Ace and the forthcoming newly designed Treks titles, Ecology Treks, Time Treks, and Earth Treks will be featured in "Learning2." In this unique school software donation program, specially stickered boxes of Math Ace and the Treks titles will contain school computer information forms that kids can fill in with the help of their teacher and send to Magic Quest. Upon receipt of these completed forms, Magic Quest will issue special 1993-94 school year licensing privileges and a free copy of Magic Quest software to that child's school.
Magic Quest, formerly Earthquest Inc., is dedicated to developing and publishing software that brings out the magic of learning by integrating entertaining, challenging games and rich multimedia databases. Members of the Magic Quest team include Earthquest founders, Bob Stevens and David Smith as president and chairman, Paul Salzinger, executive vice president, sales and marketing and Robert Bierman, vice president of engineering.
