MAESA PETROLEUM INC. ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR

 VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Maesa Petroleum Inc. ("Maesa") (OTC: MSAPF, Alberta: MPT) announced that it has invited Raymond Mahfouz to join its board of directors. Mahfouz is the marketing and public relations director for Louisiana Gaming Management based in Lafayette, La., which is the largest video poker operation in Louisiana and the general manager of Allied Gaming Management Inc. ("Allied").
 Maesa announced that Allied has commenced its operations in Louisiana. Approximately 12,000 square feet of warehouse and office facilities have been leased and the new Allied address shall be located at 101 Regal St., Broussard, LA 70518. Allied will have an initial staff of eight people and an additional field operation staff of five associates.
 Allied has commenced construction of its first truck stop and anticipates beginning construction of a second within two weeks. A third location has been finalized and letters of intent for a further five locations have been written. All facilities shall be located in the southwest Louisiana area. The company anticipates that it will have approximately 500 machines in operation within the next 90 days.
 The board of directors shall seek shareholder approval at the next annual general meeting to change the corporation's name to reflect the new direction of business that it has taken.
