MABON NAMES GREENE A MANAGING DIRECTOR

NEW YORK, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Mabon Securities Corp. announced today the appointment of Edward A. Greene as managing director, equities sales and product marketing.
Greene joins Mabon after spending the past year with Credit Lyonnais Securities (USA) as managing director, deputy head of institutional equity brokerage.
"Ed's background, which is an excellent blend of sales, marketing and research, makes him the ideal candidate for his new position," said Edwin McGuinn, managing director, institutional equities department.
Before Credit Lyonnais, Greene served with County Natwest (USA), joining it in 1989 as vice president, institutional equity sales. From 1983-1989, he was president of E.G. Capital Management, a firm specializing in equity strategies using options and futures.
"Ed's sales background, market knowledge and industry relationships will immediately benefit Mabon," McGuinn commented. "He is proof of our growing commitment to client service within the investment community, to which he'll be a strong contributor." McGuinn added that Greene complemented in depth Mabon's recent executive expansion in trading management.
