The Finnish forest industry company M-real Corporation said today (19 April) that it would take advantage of Germany's new 'squeeze-out law' to purchase the remaining shares of Zanders Feinpapiere AG held by minority shareholders.

M-real currently holds 9.757% of the ordinary shares and 98.790% of the preferred shares of Zanders through its company M-real Deutsche Holding GmbH.

M-real said that it would pay EUR80 per ordinary share and EUR85.94 per preferred share.
