Lynda: Morphine keeps my cancer pain at bay.

TERMINALLY ill actress Lynda Bellingham has revealed she is taking morphine to cope with the pain of her bowel cancer.

The former Loose Women star, 66, also spoke yesterday of how she collapsed while on holiday after chemotherapy.

She said: "I take morphine. It's keeping it all at bay, if I haven't got pain I feel I can do anything.

Unfortunately, partly the drugs, partly the chemo, my legs went. We went to Corfu and it was nice. And my legs just suddenly gave way and I fell and sat in this puddle.

"As I was heaving myself up with a wet bottom, this woman said, 'Oh, you look just like Lynda Bellingham'."

Speaking on Five Live, the star added that she won't let her illness affect her dress sense. She said: "You mustn't dress to be ill, you've got to dress to kill. I feel good. You've got to forget time and live in the moment."
