Lydall signs insulation licensing agreement.

A unique licensing agreement was recently finalized between nonwoven roll goods producer Lydall Manning Nonwovens, Troy, NY, and another nonwoven insulation manufacturer, Schuller International, Denver, CO (formerly Manville).

Under terms of the agreement, effective July 1, Lydall will act as exclusive worldwide distributor for Schuller's "Cryo-Lite" insulating materials. The product is a dry laid glass fiber material and complementary to Lydall's product line, said Manning Nonwovens president Alan Gnann. "We see this as a way of offering a more diverse product line to the low temperature market." Schuller and Lydall Manning will jointly support future market and product development.

Schuller has traditionally been a supplier of specialty glass insulation fabrics for markets such as commercial aviation, aerospace and defense.
