Lutheran church gives to needy children.
[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED]The Washington DC Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) donated various items including clothes, toys and stationery to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia (ELCRN) s hostel programme. ELCRN operates 19 hostels across seven regions where children from remote areas can stay to attend school in larger towns. Most of the children come from very poor families and some have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS.
