Ludicrous plan will destroy retail firms.

IT seems that Cardiff Council is considering the effective banning of disabled shoppers from the centre of Cardiff.

The ludicrous plan to charge for bringing a car into the city centre, made necessary particularly for elderly and disabled shoppers due to the local bus and train services being in total shambles, and exacerbated by badly thought out "pedestrianisation schemes" which already place city centre streets out of the reach of many elderly and infirm people, will serve only to destroy already struggling retail businesses in the city centre.

Thank God for out-of-town shopping centres.

We cannot all ride bicycles!
