Lucent Technologies launches new access systems for Europe.
Lucent Technologies has enhanced its AnyMedia Access System portfolio for European markets.
Additions to the portfolio include the new AnyMedia Optical Networking Unit - a system designed to allow service providers to offer high-speed Internet access and voice services to customers -, ADSL-over-ISDN for AnyMedia Access Solutions - a product that delivers high-speed integrated ADSL services over existing ISDN lines -, and HDSL for AnyMedia Access Solutions - a system that allows network operators to offer leased line services to business customers using existing copper loops.
In addition, Lucent has made its ConnectReach Plus Access System available internationally. The system, which is provided through an OEM agreement with VINA Technologies, delivers voice calls, Internet access, LAN-to-LAN connections and other data communications for small to medium-sized companies over a single E1 line.
