Lowell Public Schools Receive A+.

LOWELL, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 1999--

EUA Cogenex Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eastern Utilities Associates (NYSE:EUA), signed a $485,000 contract on November 8, 1999 with the Lowell School Department to provide repairs and maintenance on the Direct Digital Control Systems in 20 schools.

EUA Cogenex will be responsible to perform repairs required to bring all systems in compliance with design specifications and to conduct routine maintenance to assure that all systems are working properly over the next 30 month period.
