Love Island 2019islanders will be split as the Cast Amor twist comes into play, the show has finally confirmed.

Towards the end of Wednesday's episode, ITV2 played a short teaser confirming Casa Amor was well and truly going ahead.

Amid rumours of the new girls and boys entering the villa, eagle-eyed fans spotted a short teaser of a light spelling the words "Cast Amor" flashing on and off.

Resembling your typical nightclub light fixture, the show finally announced the twist was going ahead amid reports this year wouldn't include the second villa.

Love Island's Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury 'set for spin-off TV show'

It comes following the news that for the first time ever, it's the girls who will head to Casa Amor and not the boys.

While a batch of new boys will join them, the original boys will be joined in the villa by new girls.

The newbies will test the existing couples, and see whether they will ditch their partners for someone new.

Last year the twist saw a few couples swap their partners out for new islanders, leaving them devastated.

So will this year's cast experience the same fate?

Taking toTwitter, those who noticed the teaser were sent into meltdown as it appears the twist will happen very soon after a shock dumping.

One fan said: "Casa Amor is coming omg it's all gonna kick off."

Another said: "I am SO READY for Casa Amor omg YES."

Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
