Lousy deal.

The Tories think the future of the constitution is the ace in their Election hand.

It is not. Their views make them into a pack of jokers.

John Major talks nonsense about Labour's plans for Scotland, Wales, the English regions, the House of Lords and the Commons.

He leads a party which has almost destroyed local government and replaced it with its own unelected placemen and hacks.

Tony Blair wants a modern constitution for a modern Britain. With power given back to the people.

That makes sense to everyone. Except John Major and his desperate, feeble band.
