Louise is new signing.

The Pen Shop, Europe's largest retailer of luxury writing instruments, has appointed a new product manager.

Louise Adam, 28, will be based at the Pen Shop's North East headquarters on Gateshead's Team Valley and will be responsible for developing and managing The Pen Shop brand.

This will include coordinating point of sale and marketing materials, and sourcing and buying new products.

Originally from Stockport in Cheshire, Louise joins The Pen Shop after working for four years as product marketing manager at the Cheshire-based Focus DIY Ltd.

Louise, who has an Advanced CIM Marketing qualification, has a wealth of experience following a previous role at the CWV Group where she worked on behalf of consumer facing and retail brands including Mattel, Disney, Marks and Spencer and Benetton.

Louise is relishing the challenge of joining one of the North East's longest-standing companies.

She said: "The Pen Shop has an illustrious history, working with a host of international brands.

"I'm thrilled to be able to help nurture the company's current brands to attract further world-class names."
