Byline: Report by Jordan Reynolds jordan.reynolds@mnamedia.co.uk
Young fundraiser Louis Johnson raised almost PS200 for Birmingham Children's Hospital at his latest event.
The 13-year-old from Tettenhall held a tombola in the Mander Centre on Saturday from 8am to 5pm and raised PS180.
He will be handing over PS500 to the hospital on Friday, the total from a number of recent fundraising events.
His mother, Teresa Johnson, said: "The Mander Centre has supported him for about two years now, they let him come and fund raise when he wants to, it is great.
"Birmingham Children's Hospital means a lot to a lot of people so lots of his regulars came to see him. One lady came down the stairs on Saturday, saw what he was doing and straight away gave him PS10.
"In total I think he's raised PS6,000 for Birmingham Children's Hospital now."
Louis has a number of events later in the year including another tombola at the Mander Centre in November and he will be fundraising at Asda near Molineux in October.
Louis has now raised more than PS21,000 in total for a number of different charities.
