LOTUS senior vice president Jim Landry on his company's technology strategy: "For all the heat Jim Manzi takes, this technology is his stuff. He's the guy who had the vision to figure out that Notes was going to be hot about three years from the time they started, which happens to be now. I'm not sure that vision was shared by other senior managers in this company. Fortunately for me and, I think, for him, our views are pretty much in lockstep.- (Quoted in InfoWorld, 3/16/92)
