Lots of promise in Honley fundraiser.

Variety is the spice of life - and it's on the agenda for a fundraising evening staged by Honley Male Voice Choir and guests at Southgate Theatre, Honley on Saturday, November 12 (7pm).

The aim is to raise funds for an overseas trip by the choir next year - and to give them a boost the choir and soloists have recruited Gina and Marina, Richard Cook and Diane Robinson and the dancers from the Bernadette Hey school of dance in Marsden for an evening billed as a variety night.

Tickets (pounds 6) available from choir members and from Norman Mellor on 851060.
