Lots of love in the old-fashioned way.

PENSIONERS spend more time making love than youngsters, according to a survey out today.

The NOP study found that 44 per cent of over-65s said their sex sessions took up more than two hours a week.

Only 15 per cent of 16 to 25-year-olds and fewer than 26 per cent of 25 to 64-year-olds could match that.

The East Midlands is the sexiest area, with 11 per cent across all age groups saying they spend more than 10 hours a week making love.

People in East Anglia are the least sexually active, with five per cent saying they spend less than an hour a week making love.

The survey of 1000 people commissioned by the Alliance and Leicester also shows Scots are the biggest shoppers, with 12 per cent spending more than 15 hours a week in stores.
