Lost and found charm necklace.

A total gem! Gather objects that remind ya of your girl--shells, beads, feathers--and pull 'em together for this charming gift.

MATERIALS A simple necklace chain * Jewelry jump rings (available at craft stores) * Pliers * Beads, shells, lockets, colorful feathers, keys, sea glass and other objects that the giftee will love (hint: vintage stores are a good place to look for cool pieces) * Wire * Scissors

1 Gather three to five objects for your necklace and figure out what you can string on the chain. For everything else, you'll need a jump ring.

2 Carefully open the jump rinse with a pair of pliers.

3. Using shells, rocks or sea glass? Wrap them in silver wire first Place all the objects onto the jump rings and close with pliers.

4. Put all the charms on the necklace and, voila! a totally unique piece.
