Loser and Moore honored with IISRP awards.
Eckhard Loser, former director of Bayer's Institute of Industrial Toxicology, received the General Award. He was honored for his contributions to the development and management of IISRP's Scientific Research Program on 1,3 butadiene. Loser chaired the institute's Butadiene Steering Committee and forged a product stewardship initiative that continues today, nearly 25 years later. He also has numerous publications and contributions to textbooks.
Albert Moore, retired from DuPont Dow Elastomers, will receive the Technical Award. He was honored for his technical contributions to the research, development and industrialization of specialty EPDM and fluoroelastomers. Moore holds more than 20 process patents, and he has applied his knowledge of catalyst kinetics and viscosity relationships to construct computer models to control polymerization processes.
