Looks like Cruise is no Sky Blue; PICK OF THE DAY.

Live football Sky Sports 1, 1.30pm MANCHESTER City have been doing their best to upstage rivals United and pipped them to the Premier League title last season, but there's one area where United still hold a massive edge, writes Graham Woods.

When it comes to celebrity fans, United win hands down.

Whether that's to do with the fact that famous people who say they support City are probably proper fans while the ones who go public about their loyalty to United are just attaching themselves to the famous name is a moot point.

But while the likes of Ricky Hatton, Rick Wakeman and Nick Leeson are cheering on City in the Manchester derby this afternoon, United could have Hollywood star Tom Cruise in their corner. The actor is in England filming and is said to be weighing up a helicopter trip to the Etihad.

According to news reports, a source close to Cruise said: "'He won't be shouting for United or City. He'll be there as a fan of sport."

But he's only going because David Beckham told him to. Enough said.
