Long way to go to restore credibility.

DAPHNE Gaved makes the claim that "Jess Philips MP took the praise away from the hardworking residents of Stechford and Coun Neil Eustace, who have worked hard for the last two years to save the Barrows Lane Playing Fields from being built on" (Talkback, March 5).

Have no fear, Daphne, Jess Phillips has a long way to go to restore her credibility and perhaps she has grasped the opportunity to redeem herself, turning up at the planning meeting to register her objection to curry favour with the voters.

Jess Phillips should be mindful that you can fool some people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.
