Long Live Music!

I read with great interest Eileen Lavine's article. I salute Robyn and Charles Krauthammer for establishing Pro Musica Hebraica to revive forgotten Jewish classical music from a century ago. I was pleased to see that Moment recognized the Society for Jewish Folk Music on the centennial of its birth in 1908. It is through the work of people like the Krauthammers that this music can enjoy a rebirth. And it's through the pages of Moment that the public can become more aware of this wonderful music and encourage its performance.
