Long Bow Associates Announces Formation of Asset Management Firm to Invest in "New World Economy" Leaders; Headed by 1999 Top Performing Fund Manager, Alexander Cheung.

Long Bow Associates announced the formation of an asset management firm, to make investments in companies which are expected to be leaders in the "New World Economy." The new Company, Long Bow Capital Management, LLC, will provide investment services through mutual fund and private asset portfolio management.

Long Bow Capital Management, LLC intends to invest primarily in high-growth areas such as the internet and biotechnology. Its portfolios will be managed by Alexander C. Cheung, an experienced investment manager, who comes to Long Bow with a proven track record. Mr. Cheung was most recently portfolio manager for Monument Internet Fund, the best performing internet fund in 1999. Mr. Cheung, 43, who previously was a private account manager for Philadelphia-based Lion Rock Capital Management is a graduate of the University of London and the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Cheung, who is Managing Partner of Long Bow Associates LP and managing director of Long Bow Capital Management LLC and founder of both companies, will head a staff of eight.

Long Bow's investment strategy will focus on several long-term trends, which Mr. Cheung believes are significant factors in the New World Economy: (a) the growth of the Internet Economy, (b) medical science and technology, (c) digitalization of consumer electronics, (d) ubiquitous telecommunications, (e) globalization of commerce. This theme will be visible in all segments of the Company's investment activities.

Mr. Cheung stated: "Our strategy is to capitalize on the long-term socio-economic trends that will have a profound impact on the economy and people's lives. Our investment philosophy will take an integrated top-down and bottom up approach. We will seek to invest in high growth areas from a long-term perspective, in companies that we believe will lead and dominate these emerging trends."

Sales and marketing activities for Long Bow's asset management services will commence as soon as its registration statement with the SEC becomes effective.

Long Bow Associates, a holding company, will through its subsidiaries, design, market and manage investment products and services.
