The Logistics Management Division includes both industry and government participants and is one of the most active national-level logistics organizations. The division objective is to work with the Defense Department to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics support to the warfighter. Division efforts include government/industry studies, workshops and conferences addressing the elements of the Future Logistics Enterprise such as Public Private Partnering, Performance Based Logistics, Total Life Cycle Support, RFID, UID, Contractors on the Battlefield, Logistics Human Capital Initiatives, and Logistics Supply Chain Integration.

The division hosts the National Logistics Conference and Exhibition in the spring of each year, attracting a stellar program of speakers and panelists.
