Log on to punk; Also playing: The Computers, Outcry Collective, Chickenhawk.

Byline: Andrew Pain

EXETER punk'n'roll pioneers THE COMPUTERS and Surrey hardcore kids OUTCRY COLLECTIVE are hitting Teesside tonight.

The double headline show also features support from Leeds "mad-heads" CHICKENHAWK.

Signed to the legendary Fierce Panda imprint, The Computers will be no strangers to Boro's punk rock elite having toured with Cancer Bats last year.

Their explosive sound sits somewhere between Elvis Costello & The Attractions and Black Flag, with some Rocket From The Crypt chucked in for good measure.

The Computers have been honing their skills for writing snarling tunes before they head to a very special secret location in the US to record their debut full length.

Their forthcoming dates will provide an opportunity to road test some new material and will be the last chance to see them before they cross the pond and hit the studio.

Signed to Visible Noise (Bring Me The Horizon, Lost Prophets, etc), Outcry Collective have toured with the likes of The Ghost Of A Thousand, Flood Of Red, From Autumn To Ashes, Maylene and The Sons Of Disaster, A Day To Remember, Killswitch Engage, Rolo Tomassi and This Is Hell and have had the rock press frothing at the mouth.

Kicking things off will be Leeds band Chickenhawk.
