Log on to be in carnival.

ORGANISERS of the Nuneaton Carnival are making entry forms available online.

They are hoping for a bumper crop of entries for the June 17 procession now the forms can be downloaded from a website.

The carnival committee has chosen the theme of Red, White and Bleu to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the twinning of Nuneaton with the French town of Roanne.

It also coincides with soccer's World Cup and the Queen's 80th birthday. Procession manager Andy Wilson said: "This year, we are encouraging float entries from clubs, groups and businesses and we would really like to see a lot more people walking around the procession route in fancy dress.

"Everyone taking part will be rewarded with a special memento as well as a chance to win money for a charity of their choice."

Entry forms can be downloaded from the website, www.nuneatoncarnival.org
