Loders Croklaan sale completed. (Top of the News).

The closing of the sale of, Channahon, IL-based Loders Croklaan by Unilever to Malaysia's IOI Corporation Berhad Group was completed in late November, making Loders Croklaan a part of the IOI Group. The sale will have no immediate consequences on the day to day operation of the company, the name Loders Croklaan will remain and Etienne Selosse will remain in charge of the company. Both Loders Croklaan and IOI Corporation Berhad will benefit from this transaction. Loders Croklaan will benefit through an optimal control of the supply chain as a whole a stronger base in the Asian Market and linkages with the oleochemical activities of IOI Corporation. IOI Corporation will benefit from the presence of Loders Croklaan in Europe and North America and from its research and development capability. IOI Corporation Berhad is one of the largest listed companies in Malaysia, with interest in plantations, refinery oleochemicals and property development.
