Lockheed Martin donates to Challenge Air for Kids & Friends.

Global security company Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE:LMT) on Friday announced that it has made a contribution to support Challenge Air for Kids & Friends, an organisation that works to build the self-esteem and confidence of children and young people with special needs through aviation programmes.

Lockheed Martin employees have been volunteering with Challenge Air since 2006 and they provide flight service and general support at Challenge Air events throughout the US.

Challenge Air for Kids and Friends has worked with more than 28,500 physically challenged children in 36 states since it was established in 1993, providing the experience of flight and participation in educational aviation programmes.
