Lockheed Martin's Naval Electronics & Surveillance is experienced with all aspects of flight simulator training systems. The company is prime contractor on the Air Force Special Operations Forces, Aircraft Tactical Systems and F-15E Weapons Systems Trainer programs. LM-NE&SS also is providing a flight-simulation and training system for Sweden's JAS-39 "Gripen" fighter.

In addition, LM-NE&SS supplies the military with guidance and imaging sensors, lighter-than-air surveillance systems and anti-submarine weapons.

In 2000, the United Arab Emirates contracted with LM-NE&SS for the F-16 Desert Falcon Block 60 training system at a cost of $50 million over a seven-year period. LM-NE&SS also will supply support integration and a mission observation center for interface between the F-16 and the Mirage 2000-9 training systems for the UAE.
