Lockerbie hearing halted.

CAMP ZEIST: The trial of two Libyans accused of murdering 270 people by blowing up a plane over Lockerbie ground has been halted.

The case, at Camp Zeist, Holland was adjourned for three weeks after the judges heard no more evidence can be led until the issue of CIA documents was resolved.

The prosecution yesterday agreed a defence motion to request further classified documents from the United States.

The defence want the telegrams, detailing CIA dealings with key Crown witness and former Libyan spy Abdul Majid Giaka, before Mr Giaka gives evidence.
