Local young mind in running.

A YOUNG entrepreneur from Newcastle has made it through to the final six in a nationwide search to find the UK's most inspiring role model.

Stuart Maitland, who has created the mHealthful medical app, has been shortlisted by global direct selling company Amway UK in their search to find Britain's Top Real Role Model.

The campaign, now in its third year, aims to uncover the nation's real role models, awarding PS5,000 to the winner to help start up their own business.

Stuart, along with five other shortlisted nominees will now face the judging panel comprised of young entrepreneur and star of Made in Chelsea, Francis Boulle, fashion designer Patrick Grant, last year's Britain's Top Real Role Model winner Jill Carter and Amway UK representative Sheryl Franklin-Worth.

The winner will be announced early next month.
