Local flavor.
The May/June edition is so chock-full of interesting reads that I had to forgo my usual handwritten list that I take with me to buy books (yes, real books, no electronic ones for me). This time, I made notes and will carry the entire magazine with me to the bookstore.Since I will be in North Carolina for three weeks in July, I plan to purchase books at the wonderful, locally owned Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh. Pleasure awaits!

After my Borders eulogy on the opposite page, I must say that Quail Ridge Books is a beacon here in the Triangle. And all hail Flyleaf Books for bringing an indie bookstore back to Chapel Hill!
