West 18th Avenue (at Oak Patch Road): A new traffic signal will be installed at this intersection. Sidewalk work will continue this week. Watch for construction equipment and expect lane closures. Drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians should expect minor delays.
Argon Avenue (at Lodenquai Lane): Construction is done. Crews will be doing minor site cleanup. Watch for signs and cones and reduce speed.
Benjamin Street (Melvina Way to Evergreen Drive): Construction is done. Crews will be doing minor site cleanup. Watch for signs and cones and reduce speed.
Evergreen Drive (Hatton Avenue to Benjamin Street): Construction is done. Crews will be doing minor site cleanup. Watch for signs and cones and reduce speed.
Fern Ridge Path (Bertelsen Street to Beltline): Fern Ridge Path is now open between Bertelsen Street and Beltline Highway. Work in the project is occurring south of the new bridges to Commerce Street. The project is anticipated to be completed Oct. 30. The contractor may have small vehicles on the path completing lighting and rails the next few weeks.
Jefferson Street-Phase 4 (West 15th Avenue to West 18th Avenue): Jefferson Street reconstruction is in the fourth and final phase. The street will be closed from West 15th Avenue to West 18th Avenue. Northbound Jefferson Street is open from West 15th Avenue to West 13th Avenue. The project is expected to be completed Nov. 9.
Rosetta Avenue (River Road to Evergreen Drive): Construction is done. Crews will be doing minor site cleanup. Watch for signs and cones and reduce speed.
Wilshire Lane (Timberline Drive to Wilshire Drive): Crews will do top lift paving Monday and Tuesday (weather dependent). During paving there will be one way traffic from Timberline Drive to Wilshire Drive. After paving, crews will be adjusting utilities and possible pavement marking if weather permits. There will be traffic shifts and some bus stops may be temporarily closed or relocated. Pedestrian access will have minor detours. Watch for signs and cones and reduce speed.
Franklin Boulevard (Mississippi Avenue to South Franklin Boulevard): The right turn lane from South Franklin Boulevard (McVay Highway 225) onto Franklin Boulevard now is open. The rest of the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and South Franklin Boulevard (McVay Highway 225) still is closed to all other turns. Franklin Boulevard will remain open to eastbound and westbound travel. A detour is set up using Henderson Avenue and East 19th Avenue to access businesses located on South Franklin Boulevard near the intersection of Franklin Boulevard. Work will take place 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Expect lane closures and a detour.
South 42nd Street at Railroad Crossing (Between Daisy Street and Glacier View Drive): South 42nd Street at the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing, between Daisy Street and Glacier View Drive, will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for repair work. Informational signs are in place to notify drivers of the closure. A detour route will be set up using South 32nd Street. Expect a road closure and a detour.
