Native and Invasive Plants seminar - 7 p.m. Tuesday

Computer Viruses and Scams - 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fern Ridge Library, 88026 Territorial Road, Veneta. Jim Hickey, the owner of Bigfoot PCS in Veneta, will present a program dealing with PC security, specifically preventive maintenance - how do avoid viruses and how to identify and get rid of viruses if, and most likely, when, you fall victim to one or more; he will explain about common scams and hacker tricks and provide tips and tricks to keep your computer safe; free; 541-935-7512.

Monthly Labyrinth Walk - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, 3333 Riverbend Drive, Springfield. Labyrinth walks are held in the chapel and are open to all; Anne Gordon, Sacred Heart labyrinth facilitator, will be on hand to answer questions; free. 541-913-3185.

Repair Fair - 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Oregon State University, Student Experience Center plaza, corner of SW Jefferson Way and SW Waldo Place. Volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds will offer free repairs of broken or damaged items and teach attendees how to fix the items in question so that they may make repairs in the future; repairers skills include small appliances and electronics, clothing, housewares, such as lamps and small furniture, and shoes and boots.
