Local News Extra: Warning on bogus callers; CODSALL.

VULNERABLE residents are being urged to be alert after conmen tricked their way into a pensioner's home and stole cash.

The 85-year-old victim was targeted by bogus callers posing as water officials.

He let them into his home at Moatbrook Avenue, Codsall, and they escaped in a silver or grey estate car.

The man later discovered he was missing cash.

All three conmen were white. The first was aged around 50 and had a ruddy complexion. He wore a cap and a light-brown jacket.

The second man was in his early 20s, around 6ft tall and wore navy-blue clothes.

The third was aged 17 or 18, about 5ft 6ins tall and wore a navy-blue zip-up sports top and blue jogging trousers.
