Local FL Public Works Department to Obtain New Hybrid.
According to the newspaper, Mixon's decision was spurred by a rising cost in fuel for the department's fleet of 524 vehicles, which includes pickup trucks and SUVs.
The paper noted that the department is scheduled to receive the Accord Hybrid this year and subsequently evaluate the cost of maintaining the vehicle.
